I already have a website. Why a new one?
Most sites we audit were built 5–10 years ago by a relative, cousin's friend, or cheap freelancer. They load slowly, look dated on mobile, and signal to buyers that you might also operate that way. If the site is hurting your credibility during buyer due diligence, "having a site" is worse than building a new one. On the audit call we'll tell you directly which camp you're in.
What if I'm not on IndiaMART?
Even better. The IndiaMART logic is one example of where buyers leak through. The same architecture applies to referrals, export agents, trade fair follow-ups, LinkedIn, and direct outreach. The website's job is to convert any qualified buyer who lands on it.
How long does it take?
4 weeks from kickoff to live site on standard buyer-first website and website + catalogue engagements. Custom engagements with deeper integrations are scoped per project, usually 6 to 10 weeks. We don't promise faster, because faster usually means worse.
Do I have to write the copy?
No. We run the strategy session, capture your real story, your QC, your export history, your differentiators, and write the copy. You review and approve. Most owners are surprised at how much of their own value they couldn't have articulated on their own.
What about photography and product shots?
We work with your existing photography first. If we identify a gap that's actively killing the site, we'll flag it on the strategy call and either coordinate a local shoot or recommend a photographer in your city. Photography costs are separate, scoped honestly.
What about ongoing maintenance, hosting, updates?
You own the site, source files, and hosting. We hand over a 10-minute loom for your team to make small edits. We do not bundle a mandatory maintenance retainer. If you want us on retainer for ongoing changes, we scope it separately. Most clients don't need it.
Do you do SEO?
Basic SEO setup is included on every build: sitemaps, meta, OG, schema, Google Search Console. Enough to get you indexed and found for branded and category keywords. Ongoing SEO and content marketing is a separate engagement, only worth it if you're committed to publishing regularly.
What if I'm in steel, chemicals, or heavy machinery?
We don't take those verticals. The buyer in industrial steel, chemicals, and heavy machinery is transactional and largely indifferent to website aesthetics. The economics don't make sense for them. We'll tell you on the audit call and point you elsewhere.
Can my whole family be on the audit call?
Yes, and we encourage it. Most B2B manufacturer decisions involve multiple family members. Better to have everyone in the room on call one. No jargon, no agency-speak. Plain Hindi or English.
D2C brand or aesthetic clinic. Do you take those?
Yes. This page is tuned for B2B manufacturers specifically, but we also work with established D2C brands on Shopify and aesthetic clinics needing credibility-focused websites. Mention it in the form and Akshit will route you to the right conversation.
